Aluminium TVR keyfob

If you have the three button remote that is used on Carls current updated alarm systems and only have the round key-fob or the early plastic combined remote/key this is for you. Having been in the development stage for an elongated period, this final product combines functionality with style matching the aluminium used in most TVR's. The price listed is for a pair and come with a two isolators these are fitted between the new base and the PCB board when transferring the internals of your original fob, utilising the rubber buttons and top part of the original case.

For bonding your key blades into the slots it is recommend to use a two part epoxy putty, pushing a small amount into the slot, making sure that as it cures (usually 15 minutes) the key blade is straight and level and pushed fully home to give the maximum strength. Please remember to trim off with sharp knife any excess that is forced out before it cures.

Please note that the new aluminium base can lower the transmission range of the remote to around 5 meters, so doesn't alter typical usage.
